All hail the arrival of a major new star. With comparisons already being made to Sliimy being the next Mika, and thus riding on Elton John’s considerably flamboyant coat tails, the 20 year-old French star-in-waiting seems less then daunted by the task ahead. In fact it was his kitsch cover of Britney’s ‘Womanizer’ that first got the bloggers chatting and gave him over a million views via YouTube. His album, ‘Paint You Face’, already riding high in the French pop charts, but for now we have to be content in the UK with the single ‘Wake Up’ a quirky eclectic sing-a-long number made for daytime radio that’s attracting attention across the musical spectrum but likely to annoy the paints off you almost as quickly as you’ll embrace it!
