Its that time of year again, weve had a couple of days of blazing sunshine, so you know what that means, its time to start getting geared up for the summer. Now one of the essential summer items is a new chill out album, & Im very happy to let you know, that Im sitting at the edge of my pond, watching all sorts of life spring into action, soaking up glorious beaming ultra violet rays, whilst listening to “Northern Lights”, a new album & project from Lux aka Steve Miller & James Bright. Ive read the sleeve notes by Howard Marks, “When I get stoned… Musical events pass by me at a much more leisurely rate, thereby enabling me to appreciate details…” Now I know that sounds like a load of old hippy bollocks, but Ive done what it says on the tin, & I can safely say, Im in my own little world in a state of ecstatic bliss. Aah! Its gonna be a hazy lazy summer.
