Midnight Juggernauts

The Midnight Juggernauts’ first album ‘Dystopia’ was a beast of a record, announcing them as a force to be reckoned with in 2008 as it blended concrete beats with synth heavy top lines. ‘The Crystal Axis’, as its name might suggest, is a bit more cosmic – but not in a way that means it disappears up itself. The same pile driving beats and riffs are there, especially on the amazing ‘Lara Versus The Savage Pack’, while ‘Vital Signs’ works a more subtle magic, showing the influence of a bit more space rock. The trio make fantastically cosmic music, and pretty much send the listener – and dancer – into orbit with their imagination and grooves, not to mention their wonderfully blended three way harmonies.
