You don’t need me to tell you that our summer has been inconsistent at best… so here’s Nickodemus to give it a helping hand. ‘Sun People’ is an incredibly versatile album, whether it’s the cheery funk of the title track or the passionate vocal of a track like ‘Just Move!’, which spins out a chant to really good effect. It’s this willingness to embrace styles and cultures within his music that makes Nickodemus a producer to keep an eye on, as he knows a lot of ways to have a good time. This is really positive, outdoor music but is still earthy with it, so that it connects on an emotional level too.
