Roni Size made his debut release on V back in 93 and after many successful releases on his own imprint Full Cycle and credible labels too many to mention the man from Bristol has made a return to his original source of inspiration. Return To V is the album that Roni has been planning for a long time and shows every side of his talent encapsulating his sound∂s influences and showing the progression through and through. With full creative control he gives us 18 unreleased tracks with collaborations from the likes of Dynamite MC, Sweetpea , Die & Holly, Viktor Duplaix, Tali, Rodney P , Jocelyn Brown and Stamina MC to name but a few of the stars that guest on this album. Standout track for me has to be ’Want your Body’ this one features Joe Roberts and sounds like something the late great Marvin Gaye would be proud to have in his catalogue Out of Breath featuring Rahzel will be the first track to be sampled from this album and with plenty more gems to choose from we can expect some quality releases from the camp in the not to distant future . This without a doubt has to be one of the most original and ground breaking drum and bass album of the year.
