SCRATCH MASSIVE
N.A.K.E.D.
NOCTURNE

Half indie-rock, half electronic, Scratch Massive is a parisian duo worth paying attention to. Maud Geffray and Sebastien Chenut above all front a band/project (songs and that) but the pair also feels comfortable behind the decks as ‘Naked’ their weekly night at the (small but legendary) Pulp club has proven. Here they go through 22 odd tracks in one continuous mix and show you what they’re about. From the deep, druggy current German electro (Bug, Dirt Crew, Tejada) to funkin’ rock (!!!, Whomadewho, DFA’s Pixeltan, Out Hud) via Belgian electro-pop (Soulwax, Soldout, Sweatshop), Nina Hagen and 4 Hero (!), this is an eclectic yet convincing trip that occasionally takes you to the future of electrock.
