An album that’s clearly spent a while at the planning stage, this is a lot more than just ‘Lola’s Theme’ and eleven other tracks. Instead the boys try their hand at trancey house on a few tracks with mixed success – ‘If In Doubt Go Out’ a surprisingly darker moment. The slower material doesn’t do so well, but when the boys step out on the floor to late 1970s-influenced music they strike gold, with the three singles added to by a Nile Rodgers collaboration ‘Sensitivity’, the bass line effortlessly funky as you’d expect. A well crafted record, proving they’re not one trick ponies.
