Phil Mison’s an old hand at Ibiza compilations, having mixed React’s ‘Real Ibiza’ compilations some years back, and he has a pleasing knack for creating a horizontal vibe that runs throughout, despite the lack of mixing involved. CD2 is the one that really kicks back and slows down, with Chris Coco, Boozoo Bajou, Azymuth and Tosca all contributing to the overall mood. CD1 is a bit more lively but still chilled out, with the softly fluctuating sounds of AN-2’s ‘Wide Open’ making an understated impact, alongside the warmth of the Meanderthals’ ‘Kunst Or Ars’. This is another hit for the iLabel, once again introducing lesser known artists such as Dolle Jolle and The Daniel Pemberton TV Orchestra to the equation. Again they fit in extremely well.
