A host of remixes surround the Editors release of the title cut to their
summit reaching second album „An End Has A Start. In it’s original form it
soars on layers of paranoid guitars, gliding somewhere between the ranks of
Joy Division and Radiohead. Which can’t be a bad thing. The Whip are up
first on the remix front, creating an electro trailblazer that‚ll tear up
any self respecting floor. Boom Bip take a ‘Being Boiled’ era Human League
approach, giving ‘An End To A Start’ a classic Sheffield futurist feel, with
a current those in the know edge. Last but definitely not least, the prince
of bastard pop Jacknife Lee steps up to the controls, twisting & contorting
the Editors, until they’re virtually turned inside out and stretched to the
