This album has a great sense of humbleness to it! From talking on subjects like UK beat-makers charging to much for their work, to wanna be MC’s turning to pop its all done in such an honest style. I mean, Swift has impressed before and his previous mixtapes and singles have impressed, but this by far is his best work to date. We get a nice barrage of eighteen tracks with production from Jay-O from Lossol, Jabba Tha Kut, Boy Wondah and the legendary Charlie Parker (whattup P!! lol). All the songs have a certain amount of soul and a real essence of musicality running throughout. My choice cut is ‘What Are We Doing Here’ which hits hard and is destined to be a big summer track! That shizzle needs a video man for sure! LOL. The superb ‘X Factor’, ‘Nothing Like Me remix’ (Featuring Paradise and Malik from Moorish Delta 7) and ‘Charlie’s Angels’ are all included, and tracks like ‘Keep The Torch Burning’, ‘Kodak Moment’ and ‘How It Is’ prove that swift can make not just good songs but he can make excellent albums too. Respect is due good stuff in every way!
