At the height of minimal it’s great to find Kompakt still exploring other avenues. Axel Wilner aka The Field delivers his debut album, ten tracks of raw yet subtle atmospheres. Gifted for the grand, sublime and dramatic this Swede has the ghosts of M83, My Bloody Valentine, Aphex and Glass hanging over his shoulder.
