“Passage Of Time” sees Shield & Cristiano aka NUfrequency teaming up with Snax and turning a corner as they blend pop, rock and electro with a pinch of tongue in cheek psychedelia. On the remix front DFA’s The Juan MacLean builds an acid tweaked belter, that simmers and percolates but doesn’t quite boil over. Meanwhile Freeform Five get a percussive groove going, building hypnotic rhythms and old school Balearic key riffs that have got a certain Andrew Weatherall feel about them, as they make you sway from side to side with your eyes shut and your hands raised. Both mixes have got a quality druggy feel and will rock any self respecting plush club, festival tent or sweaty basement.
