One of the godfathers of house music receives a well deserved tribute through the auspices of Strictly Rhythm, and to get the full benefit DJs are pointed in the direction of the 3CD unmixed version above the 2CD mix. Fine Terry productions abound – ‘Bounce 2 The Beat’, ‘Play On’, CLS’ ‘Can You Feel It’ – and these are beefed up with house music staples such as Barbara Tucker’s ‘Stop Playing With My Mind’, the excellent Grand High Priest track ‘My Guitar’ and a host of Louie Vega and Kenny Dope related productions. Whether in Terry’s trademark shuffling beat or the more upfront warehouse sound, this packs a huge punch as a hugely rewarding listen.
