In only a few years Anjunabeats has established itself as one of the best trance imprints around and here’s already the third comp. Featuring highlights of current and future release schedule, it has been mixed by Above & Beyond aka label heads Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamäki. There’s of course the obligatory peak-time bullets (Kyau vs Albert’s ‘Made of Sun’, Super8 vs DJ Tab’s ‘First Aid’) but also more subtle gems (Lucas & Beltram’s ‘Trust Me’, Aspekt’s ‘Hi-jack’) and slight departures (Yilmaz Altanhan’s rocky ‘Eighties’, David West’s discoey ‘Larry Mountains 54’). This London label shows it’s all about taking a few risks without compromising on quality.
