Zero dB
One Offs, Remixes And B Sides
Tru Thoughts

If this were football Zero dB could be described as being out on loan – they normally reside on Ninja Tune but have made the short stylistic journey to Tru Thoughts for this vibrant collection of remixes and outtakes. These prove every bit as good as their albums, and maybe even surpass them as they reveal an incredible flexibility and ability to adapt to some wildly differing styles. We get the bass led groover that is ‘Come Party’ for starters, the clever and humourous bleep fest of their remix of Javi 3pz Orquesta’s ‘El Pinball’, and the mad whirlwind of sound making up ‘That Drum Track’. With some energetic broken beat, samba and bossa added to the mix over two hugely enjoyable CDs, this is that rare thing – a collection of remixes and offcuts that reaches a consistently high level.
