If you like freaky minimal beats then Aprapta is the label for you. It is a new project from a German artist who we are told has years of experience in the game. With the label he hopes to bring many different artistic disciplines together and says he will very much go his own way. The first stanza from his label certainly backs that up.
Entitled Pressure, it is a long and winding tune with scuttling percussive sounds, pinging metal drums and weird vocals all getting right under your skin. Intricately produced and with clever little filter uses, it’s the sort of thing to drop at 4am and watch the crowd go mental. On this evidence, this new label is certainly one to watch going forwards.
