Alien Entertainment AKA label heads and producers, Soumez and El Coca lay down some serious hip hop, dub flavoured up tempo breabeat flavours, finished off with Black Canvas’s slick reggae soaked vocals on ‘Full Speed Ahead’. Their production combines classical hip hop-elements with soul-/funk-/jazz-and the opening track really shows off B.C’s perfect command of riding A.E’s expertly produced rhythms and fat production. There’s 5 tracks on the EP also taking in more B.C vox with more reggae soundclash riddims, minimal dubstep glitch with more bass than you shake a stick at. Quality package.
