Taken from their forthcoming second artist album ‘Sex, Drugs and Blah Blah Blah (their first album winning best album at Breakspoll 05)…this single hints at the AH boys un-formulaic take on music in the breaks scene. ‘Papercuts’ is a breath of fresh air, a remedy to many a hastily churned out release from other artists. ‘Papercuts’ features the instantly recognisable vocal tones of Justin Berry who performs live with them as part of their band and has featured on previous releases. The chorus is an infectious take on that ‘No Diggidy’ 80’s R n’ B track, but this version is a mix between catchy pop electro, dirty bass in a kind of D n’ B way and total dance floor, sing a long attitude. Different and memorable. ‘Weed’ is a totally different beast, a kind of deep, psychedelic, rock / breaks experiment.
