The original is a fantastic folk-soul outing by 23 year old Londoner Jamie Woon, and – excellent though it is – it’s unlikely to be found nestling in a stack of Friday night 12″s. Which is where the Burial remix comes in. Adding the song to a monochrome background, rich in differing shades and tones and subtle, sliding rhythms, it creates a futuristic epic that’s happy to look backwards to deeper roots. Outstanding music.
