Schwab are an East London band that are about to be catapulted into the limelight big time. ‘DJ’s In A Row’ has already done the rounds at the cinema, where it was used as the title track of the film ‘It’s All Gone Pete Tong’, which created a massive buzz, so now itâs quite rightfully being released under itâs own steam. In itâs original form ‘DJ’s In A Row’ comes over like The Spencer Davis Group, Elvis Presley & Fatboy Slim having one helluva hoo ha! The ever cosmic Tom Middleton supplies a mix and a dub, firing up distorted chunk funk breaks, adding some ravetastic riffs & giving the vocal a James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem) feel, which works a treat. Andy Votel brings up the rear, treading a funky route, stopping off for the odd wig out along the way. Expect Schwab to go crashing into the nationals like a party out of control.
