TAYO MEETS CTRL Z
EVERYTIME/LOVERS ROCK
MANTRA BREAKS

My, what a refreshing change! ‘Dirty Disco’ is like a twisted dream that takes you into the strange and hilarious world of Specimen A. Imagine waking up, but not being sure if you’re awake, as you are in a fantastical manga cartoon electro rave, surrounded by mental looking Japanese cartoon ravers all doing robotic disco dancing with perma-grins stretching across their ridiculous faces. This has that cross between innocent dancefloor fun and a certain sinister dirtiness that hints at a darker side, which is funny because if you flip this over, (or forward to track 2 if that’s your fancy), you get some right old ravecore nastiness. You’ll think you’ve been somehow transported to a south London warehouse circa 1999, (except, of course, the production’s better!). All the moody bassline filth you can handle is on offer here, and if that’s not enough then there’s ten grown adult’s recommended daily amounts of old school synth noises, scary strings and haunting vocal shenanigans!
