He’s a regular fixture in the Renaissance compilation calendar but there’s no danger of Hernan Cattaneo becoming complacent, Sequential 2 finds him on top form, and trying out a thing or two. CD1 begins with Blue Foundation and Crowdpleaser taking us off at quite a lick, then settles through a deep selection before dazzling with the hypnotic Itamar Sagi and X-Green. The second mix is tougher and darker, and you won’t be messing with the beats Martin Eilbahn provides, nor the mesmerizing loops of Alex Dolby’s ‘Prodax’, superbly executed. Cattaneo’s finest moment yet? I wouldn’t bet against it.
