Pete Tong is the voice of dance music to millions, super star club DJ, producer, having productions in film soundtracks, a TV style show as well as being the inspiration for the film ‘It’s All Gone Pete Tong’. Now the original tastemaker is back, with the new ‘Pete Tong’s Essential Selection’ series. Pete’s contacts within the dance fraternity have enabled him to put together un-paralleled tracklisting, from the likes of established artists The Chemical Brothers, Goldfrapp, Mylo, Faithless sit alongside rare mixes from U2 and – for the first time ever – the Jacques Lu Cont mix of The Killers. This selection is inspired playing, being the soundtrack to 2005’s summer in Ibiza. Pete’s belief is that the clubbing scene around the globe has been totally revitalised in the last few years and we are now entering a very exciting and creative period is more than evident here!
