Now for something a little different. Architecture in Helsinki have always
been a bit off the wall, but with ‘Heart It Races’ they’ve reached a new
level. Somehow fusing electronica and calypso, this is a single that leaps
out with its originality, not to mention its chorus and rhythm – all a
direct product of songwriter Cameron Bird’s relocation to a Puerto Rican
neighbourhood in South Williamsburg. Steel drums and euphoric vocals make a
winning combination in any summer – and this is a tune that will make quite
an impact when you first hear it. Guaranteed.
