A couple of good choices for Stealth’s Afterdark sequel, working on the theme of dark, tribal and driving house music. The Spaniards Chris & Ceballo go for a highly percussive mix that twists the vocal samples and industrial noises to good effect, with the odd killer singer included (Dario Nunez/David Vio). Sweeping up towards the close are heavier cuts from D-Formation, Pagano and Cubic. Sharam Jey’s selection looks to condense his normal 3-5 hour sets into one, a deep pre-club mix that gives Rob Mello, Martin Buttrich and Roman Salzger a chance to flex their muscles. Powerful and brooding.
