Cosmic disco is the true descendant of the early 80s electro and boogie strains which popped out of disco’s over-commercialised arse before house then had a rampant shagging session with Italo disco. There have been some towering compilations of this stuff, particularly on Eskimo, and this is up there with the best. In this particular space disco you can hear delirious combinations of bottomless grooves, alien fisting sessions, hallucinogenic symphonies and the inter-galactic gopher’s talking penis. Names include Daniel Wang, Padded Cell, In Flagranti [remixed by pioneers Black Devil!], The Emperor Machine, Quiet Village and Lindstrom himself with an exclusive track under his Six Cups of Rebel alias.
