A timely summing up of some of 2007’s biggest house tracks from Azuli, with a few still to drop, making the unmixed format a valuable option. You couldn’t ask for a stronger start than Axwell and Samim, and Jol Cardwell, Mind Electric and Muzzaik make up a solid CD1. The second mix goes a bit darker, with three remixes on show from Deadmau5, Claude Von Stroke’s fine take on Jeff Samuel’s ‘Fire’ and more anthemic contributions from 2000 And One and Innersphere. An extremely serviceable summary of why house music is in a good state at the moment.
