Most Krivit releases are mandatory for disco fans, but this one all the more so for it focusses on the highly influential output of the P & P label, Patrick Adams’ imprint of the late 1970s and 1980s. Krivit’s collection of 12″ cuts includes the mighty Cloud One with a nine minute version of ‘Atmosphere Strut’, Four Below Zero’s ‘My Baby’s Got E.S.P.’ and Rainbow Brown’s ‘It Ain’t No Big Thing’, As you’d expect the productions impress hugely with their quality string arrangements, wonderful vocals and swinging beats. The fact some of these tracks are collecting over £100 in vinyl form on E-bay suggests their musical value – so why spend that when Krivit’s done the compiling for you?!
