OM may seem like a record label that majors on vocal, but they’ve never really been afraid of pushing the boat out, as the excellent ‘Lounge’ series has shown. Their first foray into electro based house music contains a lot of obvious biggies, but they’re put together in a way that keeps them fresh and involving. Inclusions for Ame, M.A.N.D.Y. vs Booka Shade, Tiefschwarz and Random House Project indicate a sound sense of what’s been big recently, while OM’s own Andy Caldwell shows electric flair in his two contributions. A good introduction to all things in the house with electro knobs on!
