A lot happens in Noah Pred’s second mix for Thoughtless, which moves at pretty much the same hectic pace as his first, covering the most recent 50 tracks from the Thoughtless catalogue. Yet there is a clear logic to his thinking, so although the scenery flies past at quite a rate there is usually something to pick out. Deepchild and Arthur Oskan are familiar contributors, with the latter’s ‘Back In Black’ a particular standout, but some of the new names on the label excel themselves too, with Stone Owl’s ‘Planet X’ especially worthy of a mention. Pred’s own ‘We Bug’ and ‘Your Signal’ form a strong pairing towards the end of the mix, by which time Pred has spun together a brilliant structure that easily rivals Era One. It all shows what a good place Thoughtless are in at the moment.
