If you’ve just got your hands on Joey Negro’s selection of classic House moments from the series then this mix from Germany’s AME will bring you bang up to date with a very contemporary collection. What I love here is the breadth of styles, from soulful vocals to the more atmospheric instrumentals, and the unobtrusive but stylish mixing. And again with this series I really cant see or hear a filler in sight, its top to bottom quality. Artists include Soultourist’s sublime ‘Turn it loose’ and Code 718’s classic Strictly Rhythm moment ‘Equinox’, plus Freaks totally sexy ‘2 Please You’. Recommended.
