Trust M.A.N.D.Y. to move the goalposts again – their all-embracing mix makes for a cosmopolitan start to Fabric’s compilation year. From the intro, where they skilfully blend Franco Bianco, Robag Wruhme and Auskukk into Yello, it’s clear something’s up, and the pair move through a wide range of techno and electronic house and funk on their journey. Get Physical acts Booka Shade, DJ T and Lopazz enjoy a prominent place in the mix but don’t dominate, while other highlights come from Dubfire, Martin Eyerer and Toni Rios, Mike Monday and M.A.N.D.Y. themselves, playing out with ‘Don’t Stop’. Genre-bending stuff.
