Great Stuff’s first compilation is a strong blend of house and electro overseen by Martin Eyerer, and is sprinkled with a dash of carnival colour. With only eleven tracks, Eyerer has plenty of room for each, and provides a cosmopolitan selection taking in Brazil (Wehbba), Ireland (Fergie) and most obviously Berlin (Koletzki and Namito). The two standout tracks come in the middle, the deceptive stop-start of the dark ‘Herzkablaster’ from Nudisco following up Stephan Hinz’s percussion heavy ‘Diescinerum’. Powerful beats and added rhythms combine to make this a darkly colourful mix, if you know what I mean!
