Kitsuné release their ‘Maison’ compilations pretty regularly, which explains why the series has already clocked up fifteen volumes! Thankfully they don’t scrimp on quality though, and keep a keen focus on trying to find the best new stuff rather than rest on their laurels. This specially packaged edition keeps up that approach, and brings in a wide variety of stuff. This ranges from the airy, down tempo Denitia and Sene track ‘Casanova’ and the blissful Antimatter People’s ‘Only Ark’ to a nice, chic Amtrac remix of The Swiss and ‘Kiss to Kiss’, then Oliver Nelson’s extremely funky remix of Portland’s ‘Deezy Daisy’. Elsewhere there is another landmark vocal for Robert Owens, this time to Cool Horixon’s disco house winner ‘Lifeline’ , and some intriguing rap from the up and coming Dillon Cooper.
