OM’s chillout legacy continues with this mellow set of tunes, taking the chance to introduce some relative unknowns. A standout here is King Kooba’s remix of Tarantulaz’ ‘They Forgot It’, which has soft rolling beats to go with its soulful vocal from Monique Bingham. Samantha James and Michael Tello are two to watch as well, their smooth grooves working nicely, while the more familiar John Beltran gives us a starry night finish with ‘It Was All Beautiful’. Previous indulgers in chillout OM style need not hesitate.
