For the latest in their distinctively branded series. the Berlin club Watergate turn to Sanna Engdahl, aka Le Fleur – one of their resident DJs. She turns in an expertly paced mix that enjoys a steady start but gets gradually more groovy as the electro quotient moves up a notch. The strong central trio of La Fleur’s own ‘Stella’, Peace Division’s ‘Seriously Twisted’ and Andrea Parker’s ‘Too Good To Be Strange’ play a big part here, the latter’s weird, widescreen sound a great choice on headphones. She then hits the peak with Hans Berg’s mighty ‘Machines’, before wrapping up a cleverly disguised finish courtesy of Laurent Garnier’s ‘Flashback’. One of the more instinctive mixes in this series to date.
