The ‘Electric’ series gets a real shot in the arm from inventive DJ Agent 86, whose mission is to get us on the dancefloor sharpish. He achieves pretty much instant success with the 40 Thieves’ ‘Don’t Turn It Off’, but backs up this early promise with Morton Sorenson, Bermuda, Enzo Ponzio and the superb Faze Action edit of Barry Mason’s ‘Body! Get Your Body’. He’s not afraid to throw a curveball or two into the mix either, and the inclusion of deeper stuff from Miguel Migs, with Eric’s Old School Revival Dub of ‘So Far’, works well too. Overall it’s an intoxicating set, full of vibrant rhythms and colour, not to mention a singalong moment or three.
