What ‘Cream Future Trance’ does really well is combine the genuinely new stuff with really good versions of existing anthems like Y-Traxx’s ‘Mystery Land’ and the ubiquitous ‘Cafe Del Mar’. While Veracocha’s ‘Carte Blanche’ might sound a bit lightweight in its new guise remixed by Manuel De La Mare, it’s part of an excellent second mix with OceanLab, Blank & Jones, Paul Van Dyk and Tiesto. Sander Van Doorn’s biggie ‘Close Your Eyes’ makes it on to the third mix, with Markus Schulz’s great remix of Sia’s ‘Buttons’, Marco V’s ‘Coma Aid’ and the PHATT remix of BK’s ‘Revolution’. Each mix grows really well, sounding natural and not too clinical, so that what we’re left with is a sound overview of trance as it is now, doing very nicely thank you!
