There’s something about this two CD mix that just makes you want to play it louder. That’s a sensible thing of course as 4 Hero’s off kilter blend of killer Drum & Bass demonstrates tempting you with a selection of sublime soulful vocals, intense rhythms and warped electronic sounds. Highlights include the Nu: Tone Remix of Black Sun and Tom & Jerry’s play me once again Maximum Style amongst many others. The second CD sees DJ Marky’s somewhat darker, though no less epic, take on the affair featuring productions from the likes of Marcus Intalex, S.P.Y and the man himself whose Days Go Slow feels like a warning of the complete opposite. As they say, it’s all good.
