An established Hed Kandi series, Twisted Disco shows a willingness to get its hands dirty with more underground productions than relying on commercial home bankers. So while a couple of concessions are made with Utah Saints and Splittr, the best moments here come courtesy of Dirty South, Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso, the cool Deadmau5 track ‘Not Exactly’ and a couple of finely worked Sebastien Leger remixes. Quite a few shouty vocals here, so the disco link can be a bit tenuous at times, but let’s not split too many hairs – it makes you want to dance after all!
