Carpe Diem Music is no stranger to making music that gets people going on the floor, and this latest EP is no different. It comes from David Glass, who is a fast rising UK star and here he gets remixed in great style by the Liverpool legend that is Yousef, with Vincenzo D’Amico also stepping up.
Calzature is the one original tune from the talented new producer and it is a bubbling, jostling, bristling house cut with raved sirens and punchy drums. It cannot fail to make you move and is fresh and original in its ideas and execution. Yousef is the boss of the Circus label and party and when he tackles his own version it becomes a much more playful and off kilter fair. The drums hit harder and the loops are event more infectious. Last up, Vincenzo D’Amico ups the ante with a fast paced remix that hits hard, is non stop and is full of deep and smooth electronic soul. As such this is a high impact package designed for the floor.
