This I found quite surprising, not being into his 12″ that much I wasn’t really excited about listening to this. How wrong I was… this unlike his 12″ outings shows the development Influx has made over the past few years, Its good when a producer atarts to experiment with sounds and is creative and confident enough to say “hey, lets not worry about trends and write something I like”. It has paid off and although there is great dancefloor tracks like ‘Shine’ the LP starts to gather momentum when tracks like Brighter Day and Souls Unite are aired. Not a household name even in the Drum & Bass scene yet but none the less one of the best up & coming producers I’ve heard of late.
