Coming from the Formation camp this label seems to be putting out the Harder Punkier side of the new Drum & Bass spectrum, This style is growing in popularity with its harsh loops, fierce breaks and often Heavy Metal-esque style sleeves etc. This double pack kicks off with Nero using a massive sound byte for the Dick Tracy movie, Rawtee on the flip is entitled Too much Wine and it is definatley not a track you would want playing in the back ground when you have a hangover. On the second slab of vinyl S.M.O.K.E come cross with the best track on this edition with Secret Weapon, using half step breaks and funky riffs (if this was on Ram this would sell thousands)… Last but not least Generation Dub present Decoded, this again on the wild side, but remember all these are new artists and trying to be a little different, some of the tracks are way too noisey for me but hey… the kids love it.
