It’s shocking to think that all the energy and inspiration of the black/latin gay NYC clubs, which pretty much started club culture in the sixties, is altogether gone. Still pockets of faithful music lovers do their own thang and slowly give the big apple the credit it dully deserves. Dj/producers Drilla & Doug Gomez have had a 12” on Gomma last year and are now stopping at Tirk for three tasteful grooves.
