The Belgian funky house of Bamboola Prod is doing well in Europe but on this 12” Ghent’s Mugwump steal the show with a classy electro groover (125 BPM). In the trio’s hands ‘Good Time’ becomes a real epic on a progressive disco tip (is that an Abba sample?). For her second single Anja Schneider is following in the footprints of her previous release ‘Tonight’. Produced with Sebo K. ‘Creeky Thoughts’ is in a sober techy disco vein that lets the ravey synths go off (Kraftwerk meets vintage Steve ‘Silk’ Hurley,123 BPM). On the remix front Sacha Funke goes real deep and lo-fi, Hemman & Kaden splice it all up to deliver a broken stoned house thang (125).
