The talented Parisian duo is launching its own imprint with a brand new track that’s picking things up where their last single ‘Chemical Sweet Girl’ left them. A strong yet simple composition ‘Deceive / Play’ perfectly combines rock and trance to electro. Arnaud is once again on vocals but this time his peculiar monotone spoken delivery seems to be working much better; the result is a dark new-wavey disco song that’s a little stark but definitely another winner for Black Strobe. At a time when everyone and its dog are emulating the duo’s sound, Rebotini and Smagghe still reign supreme.
