Eric kupper is known as the lush keyboard sound on the Knuckles-Morales outings of the 90s,but casts a much wider musical net, as this teamup with rising techno producer Nick Wilde demonstrates. The original is basically a nasty riff fermented overnight in the chemical toilet, put through the mangle and subjected to abuse by psychotic wilderbeests to sleazy effect. Then the Loose Cannons widescreen it up for the big room, Tom Mangan’s studio buddy Eames cranks the bass and introduces further dynamics, My Digital Enemy turn in a heavy, growling squelcher and new name Kissy Sell Out introduced a sodomised breaks element. Quite gloriously nasty all round.
