One of the first Gigolo releases is back with two new remixes. ‘I’m A Disco Dancer’ paved the way for the electro-techno sound that was to shake clubland at the turn of the new century. Written around female computer vox (long before Benny Benassi) and schizo synths, this biggie was then a fixture on a cross-section of floors (it even benefited of a UK release and an exhilarating Norman Cook remix). This time it’s John Tejada and Misc. who’ve been picked up to do the honours and both come up with the goods by sticking close enough to the original. Just’s recent releases (collaborations with his bro Raphael) have proved that the Austrian DJ has still his finger on the pulse – his brilliant ‘Popper’ track from last spring is soon to be re-released on Kitsune.
