After a stint on Turbo records, Drama Society resurfaces on Fine – a varied label to follow closely. Italians Baldini and Ricciardone might be the toast of the Tiefschwartz brothers but the two tracks on offer here just seem a little empty. The words deep, techy, serious and not that exciting spring to mind. Then again there are ravey dens where this kind of stuff, halfway between Detroit and Kompakt, sends drugged-up dancefloors into rapturous trance.
