Pete And The Pirates do quintessentially English indie pop with a punky art school edge. ‘Knots’ has got hit written all over it, packed with jangly hooks and catchy riffs, plus a chanting chorus. „I fear my heart might stop just as I reach the top. I don’t wanna drop, my head’s in knots. Erase myself I‚m free to hit the rock’. Over on the flip you‚ll find ‘The Wrong Man’, an excellent tune that harks back to early Adam And The Ants. A great double header, what a 7’ single should be.
